The Audiology Department is dedicated to providing competent and caring professional services for its hearing impaired patients including comprehensive hearing tests, special diagnostic tests such as electronystagmography (ENG), electrocochleography (ECochG),and auditory brainstem response (ABR). By using state of the art equipment, these special tests further evaluate the integrity of the auditory and vestibular systems for those patients with hearing and balance problems as well as help determine the diagnosis and the treatment plan.

The Hearing Aid Dispensing Program was developed to further address the hearing concerns and needs by offering consultations regarding the appropriateness and options of hearing aid fitting and the use of assistive listening devices. The program is designed to support the hearing aid user with current technology, updated expertise, and follow-up services but most importantly with caring, professional assistance throughout and beyond the fitting process.

The audiologists on staff have nearly eighty years of combined experience and strive to serve the hearing impaired community with quality care and the highest professional credentials by continuing standards. All audiologists are certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, are licensed by the state of Kentucky, and maintain their education each year.
