Kenneth H. Richmond, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. “Ken” grew up in Louisville, and then
earned a degree in biology at Brown University in Rhode
Island. He attended medical school at Columbia University’s
College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. His
specialty training in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery
was completed at the University of Pennsylvania. In 1986
he returned to Louisville to practice otolaryngology with
his father, Dr. Roland Richmond and Dr Frank Peisel, at
what is now Louisville ENT & Allergy Associates. He
is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head
and Neck Surgery and he is a Fellow of the American
College of Surgeons. Dr. Richmond has been on the staff
at St Mary’s Hospital for over 20 years and has
served as Vice President of St Mary’s Surgery Center.
He has a special interest in sinus disease and endoscopic
sinus surgery and helped develop the allergy department
at Louisville ENT & Allergy Associates. He has
presented to the Kentucky Medical Association on
acute and chronic sinus disease. Dr. Richmond has written
articles on hearing assessment in infants and children
as well as several papers on management of bleeding and
breathing complications following tonsillectomy.

Kenneth
L. Balcombe, M.D.
Born in Canada, Dr. Balcombe attended Medical School
at the University of Saskatchewan. He moved to the United
States in 1982 and did his postgraduate training in
Ohio, California and Texas. He completed his Otolaryngology
training at the Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas,
Texas. Dr. Balcombe's practice's is full-time in the
office medically treating ENT problems. He is board
certified and has special interest in chronic ear disease.
He is Past-President of the medical staff at Caritas
Medical Center.

Gregory M. Abbas, M.D.
Dr. Abbas received his bachelor's degree in chemistry
from Miami University in 1991 and his medical degree from
Ohio State University in 1995. Prior to joining Louisville
ENT, PSC, he was a member of the medical faculty at the
University of Kentucky Hospital, where he further developed
his interests in cosmetic surgery.
Dr. Abbas is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology
- Head and Neck Surgery, the American Academy of Facial
Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Academy
of Otolaryngic Allergy, the Jefferson County Medical Society,
the Kentucky Medical Association, and the American Medical
Association. Dr. Abbas has medical staff privileges at
Caritas Hospital, Norton Hospitals including Suburban
and Southwest, Jewish Hospital, Baptist East Hospital,
and Dupont Surgical Center. His special areas of expertise
include nasal and endoscopic sinus surgery, ear surgery,
head and neck surgery, and facial plastic and reconstructive
surgery. Other areas of interest include treatment of
allergic disorders.
